The FISHER®
line of SPEED-CASTER™ tailgate spreaders offers the ice control
professional a choice of two spreaders ideal for parking lots of any
size. Both units are easily removed from the vehicle without the use
of tools.
The patented SPEED-CASTER tailgate spreader, with a 10 cu. ft. poly
hopper, was designed to spread dry #1 rock salt, calcium chloride
and other ice melting materials. The hopper’s unique shape along
with replaceable internal agitators promote efficient material flow.
Adjustable material deflectors control the spread pattern while poly
feed gates regulate the material flow.

new FISHER® Low Profile Model 500 tailgate spreader is designed for
compact pick-ups or SUVs with a Class III trailer hitch. It spreads
bagged rock salt only.

Model 1000 |
 The
FISHER Model 1000, economy tailgate spreader features a low profile,
high-density polyethylene hopper with 8 cu. ft. capacity (400 lbs.).
It comes with a 10" diameter spinner, powder coated steel auger and
agitator and a 12V, DC motor mounted inside a sealed housing in the
hopper.

Model 2000 |
The Model 2000 offers the ice control
professional the ultimate in convenience and performance.
Features include 10.6 cu. ft. poly hopper, 12V DC high-torque
motor located in a sealed housing in the hopper, an internal
auger for continuous and even flow of materials and a CHMSL.
For either spreader choose an in-cab on/off switch or variable
speed control.
Both spreaders are available with a "fixed" mount or the dual
SWING AWAY® design which allows you to swing the spreader out of
the way without removing the tailgate. The Model 1000 is also
available with a receiver hitch mount.
